A quaint cobbled passageway opposite the bus station car park leads to one of Holmfirth’s most historic old buildings, now the
home of Daisy Lane Books. The 250 year old building, in the shadow of the parish church, is well worth a visit for a least two
reasons. Not only is the building part of town’s heritage, it is also the home of a thriving shop, specialising in good quality
secondhand books. Whatever the subject, you are likely to find the type of book you are looking for after a little browsing. As you
wander round you will see shelf after shelf crammed full with volumes on everything under the sun. if you do not immediately find what
you are seeking, just ask for assistance.
